Joel Cable received his Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Utah in 2002 with a focus on painting and drawing. He also studied in areas of illustration and design as a foundation to help fuse his ideas into a broader range of style and media.

Accomplished as both fine artist and illustrator, he has worked on contract as a graphic designer, produced freelance illustrations for a number of projects, and been commissioned by private and corporate clients for large scale oil paintings. He is currently the manager of the downtown location of Reuel's Art and Frame.

Joel has participated in both juried art shows and one-man gallery exhibits, receiving a Best In Show award in the 2002 University of Utah student exhibit for the painting "Belt Route."
